My place is close to the Hub of Muri Beach, just a short walk down the road or beach you will find restaurants and dining, nightlife, ..... right out on the main road is public transport and of course as you can see from the photos we are right on the beach. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the neighbourhood, and the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Sorry I have a no children policy.
In 1960 Mom & Dad felt that the States was getting a bit crowded so they left in search of a simpler and more quiet place to raise a family. After traveling the Pacific for nearly two years they ended up in Rarotonga.
Mid 1965 they began building in Muri Beach. My brother and I were both born and raised on the island and for me, it will forever be my "home home'.
I reside part of the time in Auckland, New Zealand and the rest of the time you'll find me beach-combing for the ever more stunning sunrise photograph, hiking or being a healthy and happy local.
My mom, Gwen, is your other on-property host. If she is not in the main house, you'll often find her out in the garden attending to her ever growing population of Noni, which she gently raises until they are old enough to leave home and be transplanted out into the fields.
Also on property you'll find Zoe & Little Boy. Zoe (our dog) was beat up pretty bad as a young pup, she loves to join you on walks but do't expect her to get too close. Little Boy on the other hand will sleep with you if you encourage him. With both of our furry friends, let them know your boundaries... Trust me when I say they'll be respectful.
Rarotonga offers the perfect get-away for those who are in search of serenity with an easily found mix of out-door activities and hearty restaurant & night-life. We offer you secluded space from the busy tourist areas, privacy and yet are always available for questions and helpful hints.
