My place is close to restaurants and dining and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
19 Elk is a classic Crested Butte home, it was once the post office in the mining town of Irwin. Subject to boom and bust Irwin at its peak is said to have had ten thousand people in the 1880's and then turned into a ghost town when the mines closed. I believe our house was pulled by mule team on logs the seven miles to town sometime in the 1920's. It has been remodeled many times and is a comfortable basecamp for a CB adventure.
You can come and go as you please but try to keep it quiet after ten at night (we will also). Parking can be tricky especially in winter the signs need to be read carefully, just ask.
