**Disclaimer:!!!** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY to make sure this space is for you!!
***4WD or All Wheel Drive is a requirement ***
In adverse conditions I can gladly shuttle you the last half mile at no charge if weather conditions like a snow/rain/ice storm but otherwise you would need to come in your own capable vehicle or make special arrangements with me for full time shuttling! 2wd or Front wheel drive may cause injury to yourself or your vehicle. Colorado car rental places charge an extra 10-15$/day for SUVs, they do not guarantee 4wd but the code is: **ask them for a truck or jeep **and** tell them you are staying in the mountains on dirt roads** they will give you a proper 4wd or Awd vehicle. Please book this in advance for if you wait until the last minute they may not have a truck, jeep, or Subaru for you. Also a car with all wheel drive would be fine doesn't need to be an SUV, but the more clearance the better. I own a dodge truck and a Subaru Outback they both do great, the roads aren't too bumpy they are graded plowed dirt roads and maintained but they do get slippery, icy, slushy, muddy, etc even in summer occasionally so a car with low clearance and 2wd or front drive may struggle immensely, become stuck, damaged, or unable to reach the property safely.
Finishing work in Progress!!:
This is an amazing mountain home at an incredible price, this is not a $2500 a night luxury hotel, you may notice a piece of uneven grout, or paint/stain speckles from finishing work or little projects i'm doing around the 5 acre property. It is at 8900 feet elevation where it is dry and dusty or sometimes snow..In over 100 nights of Airbnb ive never had anyone get stuck or have a problem with access even through this last winter. I own animals who have scratched up some things so its new but its also lived in. The terrain around the home is rugged dirt and rocks. Keeping your shoes off inside will immensely help to keep it clean during your stay. There is some cosmetic finishing work to do that is very minor in places, and note i will always be working on various things and aspects to improve the home so you may see some little details that need attention i'm still dialing it in a bit.
When every little thing is perfect the price will go up but for now everyone seems to think its a great value. The home has earned a certificate of occupancy, is safe and WARM heated by a central furnace!! and i do my best to make it "hotel clean" but this is my primary home that is lived in daily when i don't have guests, there may be animal hair i have overlooked or dust in a hidden corner somewhere. I really try hard to deep clean and please , inspect the home upon arrival and let me know right away of any concerns so that i may address them at the start to make your stay more comfortable or in case i've overlooked something i'm happy to address your needs. P
The mountain is rugged you will like having boots, this is not in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks. It is 8900 feet elevation with mind blowing views, so its an adventure!! In the surrounding woods there are mountain lions, bears, foxes, ravens, hawks, coyotes, lynx, bobcats, etc. They don't interfere with humans directly, however if you leave your food or pets unattended outside you might not see them again. Keep your animals on leash and/or attended! I do not as of yet have a fenced in area for dogs but will soon, none the less they should not be left unattended. If you bring your dog and need me to take them for potty walks while you explore or go to red rocks for a concert i'm happy to do that for you i love animals!
The entire house, you get a key. My pets and I stay in a separate mini-cabin with its own full bathroom during your visit. The house is privately all yours!
Guests can use recording studio for an additional fee. Find my studio website, otherwise please don't touch the recording equipment located in the upstairs studio portion! Especially don't go anywhere near the console with beverages! The studio is not open to the public during Airbnb visits is reserved exclusively for your privacy.

During your rental i will be staying with my pets in the tiny home built behind the house (separate structure) You will have a key and total privacy inside the home. I have a whippet and border collie mix they will remain in my cabin during your visit at my tiny cabin behind the house. You may hear them bark occasionally or they might get loose and come visit you, they bark at strangers at first but are totally friendly and kind. On occasion, I may need to enter the house to check the water level in the well or grab something from the recording room upstairs. I will always contact you before disturbing your privacy.
During some winter months, when there is excessive snow or roads or icy, without studded tires you will need me to help shuttle you the last half mile which is a dirt road and not easily accessible with rental cars that do not typically install snow tires. I am happy to provide this short shuttle service **at no extra cost** so you do not risk damaging your rental or your own vehicle. There is no extra charge for this but i do accept tips!! For months or days when there is no snow All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, and during winter snow tires (not all season tires) is a requirement to access the property. Subarus or SUVs recommended.
The property runs on solar power and the well water is delicious glacier fed spring water from 600 feet below. Note: there is rare possibility the well spring may be low at any given time and therefore use of repeated jacuzzi/spring baths may not be possible. To serve guests i have set up water delivery to compensate for the well levels and that being said one Jacuzzi hot tub bath per day is pretty much the max i can support.
I will be on hand in the tiny home on the property to manage any issues that arise or any special needs you might have just ask anytime, otherwise i will not present myself unless called upon! I will be there to greet you and quick guide to house operation when you first arrive. I will meet with you to grab the key when you leave.
4 wheel or All wheel drive access only

-No Tobacco smoke of any kind indoors (including blunt raps/spliffs)
-Pets Are Welcome but not in the Recording Studio Area

When Ginza was only 13 he wrote a classical guitar piece called “Spanish Dream” that won him 1st place state and regional student composition awards and received a 3rd place honorable mention nationally. Ginza promptly used the Award money to buy himself quality Martin acoustic guitar which he has used to this day. Despite the copious amounts of marijuana he smoked in high school (and subsequently fucked off grades he served teachers he didnt like) his musical accolades earned him admittance to the prestigious Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1996 Ginza moved south to Atlanta to attend Emory University where he was a double major in English and Music. He studied Jazz improv with Jazz Pianist Garey Motley, Electronic Music HIstory and Studio Technology with World Music Connoisseur Steve Everett, Classical theory and Orchestration, and one on one Classical Counterpoint with Professor John Anthony Lennon, as well as a double major in Poetry and Literature. During these years Ginza spent his summers at home in New York to be with his mother who was terminally ill with cancer. It was during these summers that he had the luck and privilege to meet and study under legendary jazz guitarist Billy Bauer who toured and performed with Charlie Parker, Benny Goodman, Lenny Tristano, and also taught guitar legends Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Ginza drove 2 hours each way to meet with Billy and credits all his guitar chops and improvisational musical skills to Billy’s unique method of instrumental teaching.
In Spring of 2000 Ginza left his last semester at Emory to be with his mother who finally passed away on July 4th, 2000. Returning to Atlanta he found himself grieving and shredding blues riffs at Northside Tavern Blues Bar alongside Atlanta’s legends Colonel Bruce Hampton and guitarist Jimmy Herring (Allmon Brothers, Widespread Panic) at an open mic blues jam night hosted by Colonel Bruce. Out of these ranks he met and formed his first short lived but regionally successful 6 piece band “Ghost Trane” which played nearly 200 shows in 2000 and sold out Variety Playhouse alongside North Mississippi All Stars one New Years Eve 2001. After this final blowout performance the group broke up and Ginza returned to Emory to finish his degree.
After graduating Emory it was not long before Ginza formed Earth One Studios, in 2003, and the Electronic/Instrumental group Elemental Harmonics. Elemental toured nationally coast to coast several times over and played notable festivals such as Jazz Fest in New Orleans and Camp Bisco in New York. Elemental released a self titled album in 2005 on Vinyl and Itunes .
In 2007 Ginza began his own trademark and to date has churned out three electronic LPS “Breakbeat Modulation System”, “Metamorph”, and “Improvised Elevation Device “. During this time rather than focus on touring, Ginza transitioned to Colorado where he hand built from the ground up the structure that houses the new Earth One Studio, Colorado. Collaborating with powerhouse musicians including drummer and producer Nick Allen of “Artime” He debuted his new live band format Album at Arise Music Festival and is currently preparing his 4th LP Ginza album for Release in 2017.
