This house is a RUSTIC 2 bedroom with 1 bath, living room with fireplace, and full kitchen with breakfast nook on the interior. On the exterior the front fence borders the busiest bicycle/pedestrian path in Douglas County as it connects with everything in Roseburg and 4+ miles of the river which is at the back of the property. This home is now built for larger family events with a cabana bar with water frontage and several large picnic tables along the river's edge. Fishing, Events & Fun now!
This is a rustic and historic property that has been saved from years of disrepair along the South Umpqua river. Our goal is to save these old houses so the chances are the guests in the neighboring homes will be travelers also.
You have the whole home and access to the river at the back and bike path at the front so bring your fishing pole and bicycle!!
Although we are working on changing this whole neighborhood along the waterfront we can only do it one home at a time so we still have work to do. Just like most towns today Roseburg has a bit of a homeless issue and they like to be by the waterfront also so until we get the whole are changed you may encounter a homeless person from time to time.
- We want you here early to enjoy the city of Roseburg and all it has to (URL HIDDEN) we offer a 1PM check in time. You can smoke in the back of the house by the outdoor firepit. Also we will have bicycles, both convential and Electric-Assist for you to enjoy as much of our bick paths and their natural settings and wildlife as possible. Other choices are possibly camping on Elk Island, or be in the mountains with our newer Madrone Grove home with many bedrooms adjacent to hundreds of acres of very beautiful Madrone trees. Come visit Roseburg on the water in downtown or on the mountain looking down at Roseburg backed up against the Madrone forest. All properties have been built, cleaned or renovated for folks to enjoy various experiences. Our customers get full and exclusive access to Elk Island which is a 15 acre island in the middle of Roseburg, and what we call West Bank which is the only area you can drive to, park and access the 6-8 acre inner city lake in our guest get much more than river or waterfront lodging. Whether you like nature watching, fishing, camping, boating or swimming Elk Island Trading Group properties and events is where you want to stay!!!
