You'll be 15 miles from downtown Durango, 12 miles from shopping, and four miles from the San Juan National Forest Trailhead, making this a great location for those who want to be surrounded by nature but have access to in-town convenience.
There is a laundry room/storage area in the entry on the ground floor. Next is the kitchen with wood floors, standard refrigerator and stove/oven, center island, and wood-burning stove. Two breakfast bars are available, seating seven total, and one faces outdoors through a group of windows, providing a beautiful view. The dining area seats six and leads to the deck through sliding glass doors.
The living area is cozy with soft furnishings, another woodstove, WiFi, and a flatscreen cable TV. There's more comfortable seating in the loft, as well as a stereo and a cable TV.
This three-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps up to seven guests. There's a bedroom on the first floor, near a full bath, and it features a queen-size bed. The master bedroom is on the second floor and also has a queen-size bed and a large picture window. The third floor has a double bed and a twin bed.
You'll also find a fenced-in area in the backyard that is perfect for dogs, which are welcome for a small additional fee.
San Juan National Forest is only a few miles away and boasts 1.8 million acres of trails and waterways, making hiking, rafting, and kayaking plentiful in this area. Boat and stand-up paddleboard rentals, as well as restaurants and bars, are available at Vallecito Reservoir, just a little over six miles away.
Durango offers plentiful dining options and a Native American art gallery. Unique shops line historic downtown, which provides a historical glimpse at this delightful mountain town.

The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation.
All guests shall abide by the Companys good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The responsible renter must be at least 21 years of age (or the specified minimum age required to rent the property, if higher). Guests under 21 years of age are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Renter is liable for any damage to the property should damage occur during occupancy.
Please note the property will email a rental agreement to the guest after booking. If the agreement is not received, the guest should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation
