Cozy and soft decor fill this light and bright studio with a private entrance. Shevlin Park and Phil's Trail are minutes away for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Mt. Bachelor is a short 30 minute drive for skiing in the winter and downhill biking in the summer. Smith Rock is a 45 minute drive for hiking and climbing enthusiasts. Shopping and dining are within walking distance at NW Crossing or a a short drive to the Old Mill or Downtown Bend. Enjoy provided coffee, tea, wine and snacks!
The cozy studio is over 600 square feet of private space. In the downstairs entry hallway you access the full bathroom and have basic supplies to prepare simple meals using the mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and dishes. You may also use the gas grill on the back patio.
Once you go upstairs, you have a queen bed and a twin bed. The cozy couch has plenty of room to spread out on with extra blankets for snuggling up. For entertainment, you have a flat screen tv with a DVD player and surround sound stereo. Wireless internet is available for two devices. The round table converts to a bumper pool table.
The shared outdoor space in the back yard has plenty of seating and a hammock to relax outside. You'll likely meet my two sweet dogs out there at some point during your stay.
If you're looking for something to do, you'll find magazines and books to enjoy and get ideas while you are here. You may also use the two bikes and helmets I have provided.
Please note Airbnb will collect a 10.4% transient room tax which is required by the City of Bend. This will be added to your base booking charges by Airbnb.
Guests have a parking space on the street in front of my house near the grass. If an additional space is needed you may park under the basketball hoop on the left hand side of the driveway. You access your private space around the back of the home from the back patio. Open the gate on the side by the garage and please make sure it gets closed for the safety of my dogs. There is plenty of room to relax and unwind, especially after exploring and adventuring around Central Oregon.

I will typically be in my home while you are in your private space. You'll be able to communicate with me by text and if available I'll greet you when you check in. I look forward to meeting you while you stay here.
My dogs are friendly but will likely bark when they hear you arrive. The larger Golden Retriever is Ruby and the Mini Goldendoodle is Mari. The dogs sometimes are in the rental space when guests aren't there so keep that in mind if you have any dog allergies.
If you are interested in bringing your well behaved dog, please check with me before booking. Then if approved, treat your dog as the 3rd guest and pay the extra nightly fee.
- The third guest is only an option as an approved dog. Pets must be discussed prior to rental acceptance. One well behaved dog who gets along well with other dogs is permitted with permission. I charge $19 a night for a dog (which is considered an additional guest). No excessive barking, no digging, and no chewing on furniture. When you leave the Cozy Studio your dog must be with you or kenneled- no exceptions. Your dog can not be left unattended in the back yard and you must pick up after them. You will be held responsible for any damage done by your dog.
- Good neighbor rules must be followed
- Check out time is 11 AM

I love to travel! The farthest place I've been is to Northern Uganda. I led a VBS for 50 orphans at Otino Waa Children's Village and observed people who have relatively nothing live in pure joy! Besides traveling, I also love to bike ride, hike, paddle board and spend quality time with family and friends. My favorite bike adventure was a ride from Dublin to Galway, Ireland many years ago. Most recently I enjoyed the ride around Lake Tahoe. I truly look forward to having guests stay comfortably in my studio space and enjoy all that Bend has to offer. You'll need to make more than one trip here to try it all! =)
If you stay here you'll likely meet my two sweet dogs in the back yard. I have a Golden Retriever and a young mini Goldendoodle.
