I grew up in the newspaper industry from a young age . I started my career at the Lansing State Journal, owned by Gannett Newspapers in Lansing MI, where I was raised. I was promoted to Fort Myers, FL May 1995, with another Gannett Newspaper, The News-Press. The weather was gorgeous from the day I arrived, May 1, my 1st very hot summer, but gorgeous. The weather and the beauty of Lee County, overwhelming, is why I made Fort Myers my home.
I'm semi retired. I work part time a few days and volunteer for our local hospitals, Lee Health.
Socially, I enjoy hosting dinner parties and entertaining. I like to make guests feel welcome in my home. I enjoy artwork, books, music, good food, travel... especially with childhood friends, photographs and home.
I love the color purple!
