Nestled at the end of a pot-holed lane adjacent to Rock Lodge, this cottage is a lovely converted stone-built stable block in a peaceful rural location. Situated a few minutes from the beautiful Tintern Abbey and within 15 minutes of the lovely beaches at Duncannon, Cullenstown and Fethard. Both Wexford town and New Ross are within easy reach as are the popular tourist deitinations of Hook lighthouse, Dunbody Famine ship and the Irish National Heritage Centre.
The cottage is beautifully furnished with its original old stone walls, newly fitted kitchen with marble work tops and funky old wrought iron tractor seats as bar stools.
With two double bedrooms with double beds I’m afraid we cannot accommodate small children. Rock lodge is cosy, warm in winter and bright in summer but just doesn’t have the room for travel cots and put up beds for little people.
With electric gates to the property and off road parking. You can unload at the front door of the cottage and move the car off the courtyard to keep your view. If it’s a warm summer evening you can dine out side on a picnic bench and sun shade if it’s a little too bright. The cottage is on our acre plot and you are welcome to sit on the numerous garden benches dotted around the garden or just sit on the grass. Make yourself at home!
