Dear Rachel! All I can say to the above listed issues is this : I started hosting back in December of 2014. I welcomed, hosted, and cared for more than 200 satisfied groups across 3 listings. I never had to collect a single dime for damages caused by my guests. You and your girlfriends were the first group where I had to go through this uncomfortable process, and I don't wish to repeat it. You decide whether this is an accomplishment from your side or not.
One more thing - if you only "supposedly" broke the couch, then you wouldn't agree to pay for the damages as soon as I told you how much it costed me (you even wrote yourself that you are willing to pay for any damages you caused, and I only charged you for the couch - I payed for the rest myself as they weren't major damages).
As I have said in my review about your group - if you start to take care of other people's property, then you will be more than welcome in any apartment advertised on Airbnb.
