Nestled between two of the most famous and noble neighbourhoods, stands out Le Flat. It’s located on the top of the hill in one very quiet and residential street in Bairro Alto, just where the border is crossed with Príncipe Real.
The building dates back to the 19th century, and though newly remodelled, its historic charm has remained. Neighbours are locals and portuguese families, so you’ll feel just like one “lisboeta”.
Wooden beams that are characteristic to the city’s enchanting architecture greet you upon the entrance to the apartment - just were the dining area is. On the other side, there’s the living room. Every detail here was carefully thought by its french owners who fell in love for the city. From the deep blue sofa until the vintage arm chair, every item has been handpicked.
One of the bedrooms is by the living room, with a lovely view to the street where the building is located; while the other is just in front of the dining room which window is turned to the apartments’ terrace.
Still by the terrace side, you’ll find the kitchen and the bathroom.
Both of them all renovated, but keeping the portuguese vintage style in details such as the light switches, the floors in both divisions, the old fireplace frame in the kitchen or the the stunning bath tube in the charming bathroom.
Last but not the least, between the bathroom and one of the bedrooms, there’s a lovely closet where laundry area is.
All the apartment is equipped with all the modern amenities you need to feel at home. Wireless internet, cable TV, and a fully updated kitchen, Le Flat has it all.
Welcome to the place that will make you feel at home in one of the most charming cities in the world.
The whole apartment is exclusively for guests.

My travel bug first started when I was 20. I was studying in Brazil when I travelled around South America for a month - it was short, but inspiring. Experiencing new cultures and seeing how other people live changed the way I thought about the world. It opened my eyes to new realities and amazed me.
I returned to Portugal to finish my advertising degree and then decided to travel around South East Asia for four months after graduating. Although I started the trip alone, I met people everywhere I went. Exploring new places with new friends proved to be one of the best times of my life.
Every time I travel I realize how little I’ve seen of the world. No matter how much time you spend abroad, it never seems like enough. Every person you meet in the middle of nowhere, every place, every new smell, flavour and feeling makes you a richer person and makes your thirst for adventure grow. You walk through one door only to find another waiting, and you become continuously curious of what new experiences lie ahead.
There’s nothing else in the world that gives me the joy that travelling does, and to me, sharing that happiness is the best part. Turning this passion into a career has been my search ever since returning home, and I have found my answer in Le Flat. I could not be more excited to continue the journey, inspiring other people, and being inspired by them.
After much hard work gaining experience in various fields such as customer service, editing and advertising, the opportunity to share my city with people from all over the world arose. Now that my vision has been realized in Le Flat, it is my goal to give to you a piece of what I dream about when I travel – to become, in a certain way, a part of the place you visit, so that it never leaves your heart.
