This 1906 American 4-square has all the character and charm you could dream of. The title holds true, ducks and chickens. Your bedroom is off the kitchen; has new carpet, bed and a private(ish) entrance that is perfect for an individual, couple, business traveler, or anyone looking for a cozy bnb experience. You'll be steps away from the city center, trails, markets, local craft breweries, restaurants, or nature and recreation. Mt. Baker is about 1.5hrs from this house - for the powder seekers!
This house was built in 1906 and has all original woodwork, hand made glass, and is an absolute gem. Lots of natural light, warmth by fireplace or furnace, and no shortage of charm and comfort. We are located walking distance to bars, breweries, fabulous dining, trails, museums, and downtown. This is a great way to experience Bellingham!
We have a 3yr old Australian Shepherd who guards the house and is responsive to any commands. We also have 2 ducks and 2 chickens, if they’re roosting - expect farm fresh eggs in the AM!
You have your private bedroom, use of the kitchen, use of washer and dryer in the mudroom, and of course your own private bathroom as well. You also have access to 100mbps high speed internet wifi, a sofa in the living room, and a dining room.

I travel a bit for work, and so does Nattalie, but at least one of us will be available as a host while you are a guest. We are happy to provide guidance to the town, and if possible even be a tour guide.
Pacific Northwest Native, most recently living in New York City and Seattle before that. Bellingham is my hometown and the North Cascades are my backyard. Lots of travel for work, but my real adventures are mostly in the mountains, lakes, and woods of Washington State.
My girlfriend Nattalie and I live in Bellingham with our two dogs (Enzo & Nea) in a charming 111yr old Victorian in the heart of town. The house is very clean and tidy, and the pups are very well behaved.
We also have 2 ducks & 2 chickens, if they're laying we will offer you some farm fresh eggs for breakfast! The birds are on a coop from dusk to dawn and remain very quiet when it's dark out.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
