1 Honeymoon Row is a charming 300-year-old end terrace cottage with a pretty, sunny enclosed garden. It's in a super, secluded location, just a few minutes walk from the Quayside and local amenities, and a two minute stroll from the lovely Buttlands green in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea.
The cottage has recently been refurbished offering accommodation for two with the option of adding one more guest on the sofa bed in the sitting room.
Originally a warehouse, Honeymoon Row was used as a temporary home to the Fisher Theatre company at the turn of the 18/19th century. The gentle incline of the Row suggest that No 1 was used as the stage area. By 1816 the building had been converted into a set of terraced houses.
Wells-next-the-sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest. A visit to Wells wouldn't be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish and chip cuisine. Bicycle hire is available on the quayside. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham.
