Sexton's Yard Cottage is a wonderful recently refurbished character cottage which is set back from the road in a quiet village location, and has a really lovely welcoming feel.
A stable door opens into the open plan living area with a wonderful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove, windows with shutters, comfortable seating and dining space for four people, and a Smart TV with WiFi and radio. Although there are two double bedrooms, the second has a small double bed (4') which would suit one or two children, or one adult (two is a squeeze!).
The kitchen is fabulous, well-equipped and great for budding chefs with all modern appliances and solid oak surfaces. There is a shingled area to the front of the cottage with table and chairs, and parking for one car.
Sexton's Yard Cottage is dog-friendly (one large or two small well-behaved dogs are welcome), although please note there is not an enclosed garden for your four-legged friends. The shingled area to the front of the cottage is open to the courtyard and used for either additional parking or 'al-fresco' dining.
Open-plan living area
A stable door leads into the lovely newly decorated open-plan sitting room/dining area with painted beams, exposed chimney breast with log burner. There is a comfy sofa wing chair, coffee table with lamp. A window looks out to the front of this charming cottage with bespoke shutters. There is a super oval dining table with chairs seating four people and a wall mounted flat screen 'Smart TV' with radio and internet. Open-tread stairs lead to the first floor bedrooms.
A well equipped galley style kitchen with shaker style units with oak work surfaces and ceramic sink with mixer tap. Appliances include integrated washer/dryer, slimline dishwasher, larder fridge and electric oven and hob with matching cooker hood. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster and wall mounted heated towel rail. A window looks onto the garden area.

A lovely room full of character with vaulted ceiling, exposed chimney breast and beams. Comfy double bed with crisp white bed linen, wall lighting and double wardrobe with drawer space, chest of drawers with lamp, mirror and hairdryer.

There is a electric shower with curtain, WC and wall mounted wash hand basin with mirror over and storage, electric heated towel rail.
There is as shingled area with circular table and chairs, seating four people, at the front of the Cottage, a great place to enjoy breakfast or al-fresco dining. A retractable washing line is also available for your use.
Please note: Due to the age and character of many cottages there is some restricted head height in the sitting room which measures 1.73m (68") which may restrict some very tall people.
There is a single private parking space at the end of the yard on the left under a car port, additional vehicles can park on the High Street, if required.
Please be aware that although the Cottage is 'dog-friendly' the garden is not fully enclosed therefore not secure for dogs.
