Wells-next-the-sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest. A visit to Wells wouldn't be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish and chip cuisine. Bicycle hire is available on the quayside. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham. If you want explore further afield, and discover the other lovely villages along this beautiful coast, just catch the Coasthopper bus service from across the road, and leave your car behind for the day.
