Penny Cottage is a traditional carrstone dog friendly cottage situated in the heart of the popular village of Heacham. It is deceptively spacious, with an extended ground floor to include an open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen with a conservatory leading out to a fully enclosed rear garden, complete with dog run. There is a newly fitted wet room downstairs with a mains pressure shower and upstairs there are two bedrooms, one twin and one double. The sofa downstairs easily converts to a double bed and a curtain can be pulled across the sitting room area for privacy should a guest need to sleep downstairs or if you have guests to stay.
Open Plan Sitting/Dining Room
The front door leads in to the sitting room area, with a large sofa in a chaise longue style that can easily be converted to a sofa bed (linen is available on request), a reclining easy chair, open fire, TV with Freeview. There is a dining table and chairs in the adjoining section, with an easy chair and door to stairs. The sitting room can be separated from the dining area and kitchen with a curtain, so if a guest needs to sleep downstairs they can have some privacy.
Leading on from the dining area is the kitchen; a galley style fitted kitchen with velux window above and French doors leading out to the conservatory. There is a small table and two chairs, microwave, integrated gas hob with electric oven below and extractor hood, under counter fridge, kettle & toaster.
Accessed from the kitchen with French doors out to the garden, the conservatory is brick and UPVC construction, there is wicker conservatory furniture, comprising three armchairs and a coffee table.
Downstairs Wet Room
Newly fitted wet room with mains pressure shower, WC and wash hand basin, there is a velux window for additional natural light.
Stairs to First Floor (please note these are traditional cottage stairs and are quite steep with narrow tread)

There is parking for 1–2 cars on the driveway at the front of the cottage. To the rear is a fully fenced and enclosed garden, laid mainly to lawn with a patio area outside the conservatory. There is garden furniture. At the back of the garden is a good dog run, so you can leave pets safely if need be. There is a back gate, accessed from the side of the adjoining cottage, so dogs can be brought straight into the garden when back from beach walks.
Heacham is a great location for families with two unspoilt beaches, a range of shops and many places to eat, including a fish and chip shop and several pubs. Some of the nearby local attractions include, Norfolk Lavender, Snettisham Park Farm, RSPB Nature Reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, Sandringham House. Heacham Manor is now open with a newly designed championship 18 hole golf course with reasonable green fees. The North Norfolk coast is 5 minutes drive away through Old Hunstanton.
