6 Clock Row is a charming example of a traditional brick and flint Norfolk cottage.
It is situated off the main road and at the end of a short terrace of similar cottages.
There is a lovely garden to the front of the property, separated from the front door by the parking area, and an enclosed courtyard area at the rear of the property with an outside wet room, ideal for hosing down the dog (or the kids!) when you get back from the beach.
The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is modern, with all the conveniences you could expect, and provides comfortable accommodation.
The cottage is fantastic base for a holiday in Thornham, an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast. Wide expanses of salt marsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers. There are several great places to eat including Thornham Deli, selling all manner of local produce and great coffee, breakfasts and lunches, The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, The Orange Tree; a gastro pub and The Chequers selling pizza and pasta, plus of course their is Drove Orchards where you can pick-your-own-fruit, purchase from the Farm Shop, dine at Eric's Fish and Chips and dine in at the acclaimed Yurt. Fresh fish can be purchased at Gurneys also within the Drove Orchards site.
The beach, reached by a walk over the sea defence over the salt marshes, is stunning and you will be rewarded by peace and quiet and white sand!
