Conveniently located only a walking distance from Nakuru Town. With a quiet, private and very secure compound. Ideal for both groups and individual travelers.
If you book with Erastus, don't expect to actually stay at his place - he sent me to another AirBnB host after I booked and paid, saying he wouldn't be home and couldn't host me. I chose his place because it was in town; the place he had me stay was a ten-minute drive out of town, meaning I had to pay for a tuk-tuk in the morning to get to the bus station. The place I did stay was fantastic, and I would highly recommend staying *there* - it's next to the lake. There are rooms with bunk beds and the host, Grace, often has volunteers / NGO workers staying with her, so it's a lively and fun place to be! Her husband is so interesting to talk to, and she has two very sweet kids. She provided not only breakfast but dinner too (!!!) because the house is far from restaurants. Her AirBnB name is Grala, and I highly recommend booking with her.
We did not see the original listing. We were quoted price per person for the two of us online, but were asked to pay double after some time with our host, which we did not feel comfortable with. Our host put us up in a bedsit for some extra cash, and we appreciated that he tried to amend his error on the listing. In this, we can safely say that he is a helpful host!
I have amended the pricing to include extra guests. This had caused the hitch with the original listing. Sorry for the oversight & thanks for advising. This was an instant booking with very brief notice. We discussed and acknowledged that we didn't have many options. I appreciated your understanding & cooperation.
