A 4-acre VT dream house nestled in the woods just North of the West River yet minutes from downtown Brattleboro. 45-60 min from the ski areas of Bromley, Stratton, Mt Snow, Magic Mtn, Okemo, & Granite Gorge. Great hiking and cross country skiing trails right outside your front door.
Built in 2008 includes many modern touches but feels cozy and timeless. Lots of natural light, open space and exposed post-and-beam construction make this house great for gatherings or just getting back to nature.
5 bedrooms with 7 total beds. Bunk beds are full-sized. 1 double bed is a futon.
1800 sq ft, but the many cozy bedrooms make it great for a bunch of folks to still have some privacy. Additionally, the couch is a lazy boy that's really comfortable for sleeping on, and we have a queen air mattress as well.
1 half bath located on 1st floor and 2 full baths located on 2nd floor.
Entire house - washer/dryer, dishwasher, espresso machine, sodastream, 2-person jacuzzi tub, great backyard, hiking trails right from the yard that lead up the ridge, and .5 mile access trail that connects to the West River trail system. Great for hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.

This is my home where I live full-time, and rent out while I'm traveling.
Depending on arrival time I will likely be away once guests arrive. You'll have a personal access code to open the house. I'll have it warmed up for you and have a local co-host on call if you need any help with anything. I'm also usually connected and quick to respond to texts with any questions.
Woodstove is primary heating source and it gets the whole house toasty pretty quick There's also supplemental radiant floor heating on the first floor which usually kicks in late at night after the fire has been dead for a while. We also have a space heater if you want to just heat a bedroom without heating the whole house.
- Smoking fine outside.
- Dogs ok, no cats please
- Shoes off preferred. Softwood pine floors on the 2nd floor are easily scratched.
- No parking on road, plenty of space to park 6+ cars in the driveway
- Trash pickup is expensive here, so we kindly ask you to separate recyclables and compostable items.
- I live here! I will have the place reasonably clean and ready for you, but it is not a hotel so expect rustic and lived-in. I ask that you be considerate of the fact that this is my home and leave the place reasonably clean as you found it.
I'm a full-time musician who spends most of my life on the road, but call beautiful Brattleboro, VT home.
I love traveling and meeting folks everywhere I go, which I why I prefer AirBnB and homestays to hotels. I was a host at my former apartment in Brooklyn, NY for several years as well.
