Cosy house in Santa María conveniently located near Palma. You can walk to the train which takes you to the city in 15 minutes. Central location from which you can easily go anywhere on the island: close to many excursions to the woods, caves, mountains and coast. Nearest beaches are 20 minutes away.
Our home is comfortable, friendly and spacious. It is a fully refurbished typical Majorcan old style country house, with a swimming pool surrounded by 2700m2 of land, with carob, almond and olive trees. There's also a lovely vegetable garden you will be able to taste should you wish, by letting the host assistant know. The main house has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room and a spacious kitchen with a dining room area. There is a big terrace with a dining table for 8 people located right outside the main door and the kitchen/dining room.
The other terrace is roofed and has BBQ and a counter, table and chairs, a bench and a sunbed, all of which are easy to change around in order to suit your preferences and needs.
I'd love to get to know our guests and will answer all their questions before and under their stay.
Guests will have access to the whole house except for a little room where we´ll store the stuff you won´t need. Also to the whole finca.

There will be a host assistant upon your arrival who´ll show you the house, hand you the keys and the welcome book with all the details you might need and want to know as well as help you if there´s anything you need. I´ll be available on the phone.
Remember there are two cats who live in the house. They are extremely sweet and friendly so you can relax and enjoy them.
Smoking is not allowed in any part of the house. We do not accept parties to take place either.
If you would like to request cleaning services during your stay you can arrange them with the host assistant directly and they will be payed by you directly as well.
- The house has an organic vegetable patch. If you´d like, you are invited to enjoy a weekly harvest box, fresh from the earth to the kitchen.
- Sorry but If you are allergic to cats our house is not suitable. With the house come two dear cats: Miso and Louis, loving and well behaved. Please treat them as the family cause that´s what they are!
- Water is precious and should be treasured. Please be conscious of open taps running unnecessarily and a responsible use of it.
- We have some plants in pots in the terrace that need watering every couple of days or so. If you do not want to water them someone will come by and do it. However, please let your host assistant know on the day of your arrival. If you are happy to do it, thank you!

What I love the most is nature, in all its thousand forms, FAMILY above all and music. I treasure quietness, walking in the mountains and the woods and eating simple but good food (vegetarian).
Huge fan of Mozart, Punch Brothers, Bach, Michael Jackson, Anaïs Mitchell, Aurora, Cat Stevens, Radiohead, for example. Loved books like "The Etruscan Smile" by José Luis Sampedro, "The Mists of Avalon" or the series of "The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency" by McCall Smith. I´m only subscribed to a magazine: Resurgence and Ecologist. Cinema is my passion but there are too many good movies to choose only a few: "Eat, drink, man woman" by Ang Lee, Jungle Book by Walt Disney or the recent "The revenant" by Alejandro González Iñárritu. I just love cinema, especially author cinema and small films which can be much more interesting than the enormous Hollywood productions plagued with special effects and violence.
I am a huge fan of Non-Violent Communication and Marshall Rosenberg, meditation, yoga for the mind and the spirit, and swimming & dancing for the body.
I am a vegetarian and admire vegans for their huge compassionate heart. On my way to veganism... My favorite food is Gazpacho, which you´ll be able to easily make here with the tomatoes in our garden and the blender. I could even give you the recipe if you are keen.
Places that impressed me til today: India and their devotion, Norway and their pristine nature, Brasil and their lightheartedness...
I love traveling outside of the mega-saturated tourism but sometimes it is hard to get away from it. But I enjoy the huge variety of ways, traveling is so fun!
I think traveling should be as respectful and as discreet at possible, trying to leave as little trace behind us as we can. But it is not yet possible : ( Trying to find a good balance : )
