The cabin is amazing! VERY peaceful and relaxing. We were three adults all single and we had plenty of room to be in separate places and not be crowded. The cabin is not overly large but very well equipped and certainly enough space to be comfortable and cosy. Mary and Mark are great hosts will awesome communication. We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay by a night I will say though the wifi reception / cell reception isn't great (we found decent wifi reception on the front lawn) so if you need to be connected for work you need to be aware you need to get creative with finding reception. We loved the fact we were disconnected as it added to the relaxation and Mary did mention they were looking into a better connection for wifi in the cabin. It didn't affect our stay but if you are the type that needs 24/7 connection the Black Hills may not be for you. We all LOVED the cabin, the views, the area and would all stay with Mary and Mark again if we were passing through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The cabin was in a beautiful area - a wonderful porch for coffee and sunrises. Checkin was easy and the location offered an easy drive to Deadwood, Rapid City, and hiking areas. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking during the stay. Look forward to a return visit.

If you want quiet seclusion, the kindness of artful souls in a beautful Black Hills setting, a charming cabin with a great little kitchen and plenty of sleeping options, then look no further than the Cabin at Green Mountain. Home away from home for our family of four ( with adult children), we used it as our home base while exploring the wonders of the Black Hills, The Badlands, and Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Mary checked on us regularly (but not intrusively); she is delightful to visit with about the area, her art, the natural world, and horses! She and Mark also shared a tour of their art studio, which was a lovely way to spend our final evening in this beautiful place. It was genuine experiential immersion vs. touristy ephemera. Happiness!
