Sorry to hear about the fireplace in the Alfresco. I didn't realise you still had no luck after I suggested to replace the batteries to the remote. That said, I'm at a loss to understand why it wasn't working, as I contacted the last Guest to use it and they said it worked fine when they were there
I replaced the batteries last Fri. and the remote works, but I did note the gas tap was turned off. So, I'm not sure if that was a person from your group trying to get it working or not or if they touched any of the switches, etc.
As I'm not an expert on the operation of the fireplace, I've had to call in a plumber to see why it's not working
Again, sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. You've now alerted me to the fact that along with checking the technology works with the property after Guests leave, I also need to check that the fireplace works.
