Our stay at Tom’s place was a roller coster. POSITIVE: The apartment is nice,newly renovated and very well located. The bed is super comfortable! We had some issues with bugs and ants ( it is garden level) but not much you can do about that. The garden was great but shared with neighbors ( so not so peaceful at times). NEGATIVE: Note that Tom isn’t the owner, the apartment is managed by Veev, a private company. This meant that the whole thing was very impersonal. The girl showing us the apartment didn’t have a clue about anything so it wasn’t really helpful and not a warm welcome. To our questions about the old washing machine instructions and a second set of keys, she said the company will get in contact with us. 2 days went by and nothing was sent so we had to contact the company ourselves. In the meantime we tried to use the washing machine but surprise, the door was broken so we couldn’t wash. Our nightmare started. For information, before moving to this apartment, we stayed 1 month in another apartment and we planned to stay a month more in London so for a long stay the washing machine was important for us. We were promised to have it fixed in a couple of days. This turned into a week and with the promise of having it fixed we extended our stay but the fixing never happened. In the meantime we had people form the company coming and going to try to fix it, always unsuccessfully. Which was annoying since one of us works from home. We started losing patience so Tom suggested they will take our laundry to wash, which we really appreciated. Everything came back perfect. Days went by and another week with no washing machine. We were losing more and more patience. As you can imagine, we didn't travel with so many clothes since there is so little you can fit in a suitcase. We were in London for a long stay and for work so having access to clean clothes was important to us. They took the clothes to wash a second time ( one of the guys working for the company told us that it was expensive the first time so we suspect that this time they brought the clothes to a cheaper launderette). It was a disaster. Clothes shrank, missing socks, t-shirts back with same stains.. After this issue, they refused to wash it for us once more but they did gave us credit to take care of it ourselves ( not ideal but at least a solution). The washing machine issue ( which lasted our whole stay, so 3 weeks) was a source of frustration and time consuming for us and on top of that we ended up with damaged clothes. All this could have been avoided if when the last guests left, the company had verified that everything they promise in their listing was in order. We felt...

My name is Tom and along with my team I manage this collection of hand-picked apartments and houses for their individual owners while they are away. Each property is carefully selected and offers a stylish living experience and excellent value.

As a lifelong Londoner I love having the opportunity to share these spaces, my knowledge and personal recommendations about this great city with those visiting for both short and long term stays.

All our guests will be greeted personally at the property by a member of our hospitality team, and guest assistance is also provided by our professional customer service team between 8am - 8pm 7 days a week, should any issues arise during your stay. Please note that once a booking is made, the customer service team will be the point of contact thereafter.

Please be aware that viewings are not possible for stays of less than 1 month.
