Hello everyone, I’m Hajime!
My name, Hajime means ‘the beginning’ and ‘NO.1’ in Japanese, which is what I like about my name
I’m working for a trading company and travel all over the world as a business.
Honesty is the best word that describes my personality. I guess that’s because I grew up in Osaka where ‘the spirit of hospitality’ took root.
I spent my school days in Oasaka until 17. I then moved China and Australia and lived there 2 years each. My parents work for a trading company as I do now, they move around the world. I travelled many countries when I was a uni student and made a lot of friends there.
I met Airbnb then, which changed my point of view. It saved so much cost and what was best about Aibnb was that I had communication with the local people while staying. This lead me to a deeper understanding of cultures and spirits.
When I came back to Japan, I found Airbnb did not have citizenship yet. This gave me a thought of hosting on Airbnb in this city of Osaka, full of hospitality spirit and giving a warm welcome to any guests.
My apartment is where I used to live back then so it’s a quiet and nice neighborhood. Well, I’d say it’s a good old Japanese styled area. Everyone in neighborhood is really kind, helpful and also a great comedian!
My friends from schools in Osaka live nearby so we will be there for you if anything should happen!
I promise you these things; replying with Japanese Osaka soul, interior with style, best room cleaning, introduction of sightseeing spots and all the directions to those places. I will do my best with these so you all will have a wonderful time in this great city.
Here I would like to show my belief to you all.
“I think a universal language of the world is not English but a smile.”
Hope to see you in Osaka!
