One of the few original Nantucket houses in Hudson and owned by the Macy family, this historic house was brought to what was then Claverack Landing in the late 18th century. The house is within walking distance of the train station (Amtrak) and is a block from Warren Street, the main street for shopping, restaurants and bars. Simply and nicely furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture and lots of art (owner is a former art dealer).
There is a lovely garden with table and chairs for eating outside. Photos will be uploaded when things are blooming again!
This house has three separate apartments. You will be staying in the one-bedroom, two-story apartment in the middle.

I've been an art dealer for the last 25 years, have owned three galleries and created two museum stores in Miami where I lived for a while. I also have a website called DOsmallspaces since I help people design and organize small apartments. This work is what I am mostly focused on now because NYC is full of little apartments! I'm happily back from living in Miami now and enjoy tremendously my life in Greenwich Village! My father was Italian so I understand Italian and speak a little. Also understand Portuguese and French though not fluent. Love meeting people from other countries and will be available to help you discover New York and give you plenty of restaurant recommendations! I'm a foodie, love indie and foreign movies which I enjoy at 5 indie movie theaters in the neighborhood, love animals and traveling to foreign places which I do often.
