Very large shared room with a double bed and three singles. The farm is in the heart of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. It is a 500 year old Grade A listed building with loads of charm and character. It is peaceful here so is an excellent place to get away from everything and gather your thoughts. We are already in the mountains so if you like hiking then you just have to step out the door. Fresh towels, linen and breakfast provided.
We also have two other listings for this property if the room is not available when you want so please check the others.
Please make sure you that you read the full description below as this is not your average house, you can do this by clicking the '+more' link just below.
Please note that you may or may not have to share this room depending on whether there are other bookings. Most people love the place but a couple of people seem to have had an issue with the fact that the house is very old and find the layout a little strange. It is a traditional Welsh longhouse so is not like a conventional house with corridors and lots of separate rooms. There are no corridors in the main house and 7 very large rooms. There is unpolished slate on the floor which most people love but it seems some people may prefer modern tiles or carpet. Also, the bathroom is not very large as it used to be part of the kitchen. They did not have indoor bathrooms 500 years ago so the house was not designed with bathrooms in mind. It is not now possible to add an extension for another bathroom or make any significant changes to the building as it is a Grade A listed building and is also in the Snowdonia National Park which means there are further planning restrictions. We love it as it is.
The living room, bathroom and toilet in the main house are all available to use for guests. Unfortunately some guests have left the kitchen in a mess it is not big enough for several people to use it at the same time. We only generally allow guests to use the kitchen for making hot drinks, and preparing sandwiches or heating up ready meals. It is also possible to use the kitchen for making a cooked breakfast as it is not so busy in the morning. Guests are welcome to participate in the meals that we are cooking if they would prefer not to eat out. We may allow guests to cook in the kitchen at our discretion if it does not interfere with meals that we are preparing and they make sure that they clear up properly after themselves. If people do not clear up properly then they will no longer be allowed to use the kitchen for cooking. We own 67 acres of land which you are free to roam on, some of it is open hills and some is woodland. There is also a river and several small waterfalls on the land which you could investigate. We have seasonal fresh organic produce from the garden which may be available for guests at certain times of the year.

There is usually someone available to help you with any needs you may have. We can also provide information about local tourist attractions.
Please note that the farm is very old and has a lot of wooden furniture, it is definitely not modern if that is what you are used to. It is also a working farm so it can get a little muddy around the place at times. If you do not have appropriate footwear we do have lots of spare rubber boots you can borrow.
It is very important that you read the full description as a couple of people have not read it and then had an issue with something that is mentioned in the description which is slightly annoying.
