Set in a pretty garden, this pretty semi-detached cottage next door to the Owner#39;s house at the end of an unmade lane is in a peaceful, yet great location for exploring the west Cornwall area. Willow Cottage is full of charm and character throughout and whilst the cottage is not full of modern furniture, it is a real home from home where you will be very comfortable. There is a compact kitchen with a hatchway through to the dining room which has great character. The sitting room has a cozy wood burning stove. The pretty cottage garden is a real haven and benefits from the mild climate in this part of the country.
This location is really fantastic, being close to Hayle and Marazion (for St Michael#39;s Mount) and only a short drive to St Ives. The stunning beaches around St Ives Bay offer some of the best expanses of sand in the county with Porthkidney Beach and a 3 mile stretch of sand to Godrevy Lighthouse at Gwithian. Even better is the fact that St Erth station is a short walk away. This is a mainline station and also serves the St Ives branch line which means a visit can be made there without the car. A huge advantage if you want to enjoy some of the great restaurants around the town. There is some great countryside to explore near here, but a highlight is the stunning coastal road between St Ives and St Just where the moorland meets the sea - wild and dramatic! If you take the train to St Ives, the line hugs the coast and the views are quite beautiful.
Both the north and south coasts are easily accessible from Willow Cottage, making it an ideal location for those looking to take advantage of the great surfing spots available in this part of Cornwall. Take your pick, depending on the conditions!
Ground Floor: Kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a wood burner. A bathroom with a small bath and over bath shower.
First Floor: Master double bedroom with 4#39;6quot; followed by a single bed room.
Exterior: Pretty lawned garden with plenty of flower beds and external furniture.
Facilities amp; Services
Heating is via night storage heating and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is a double electric oven and separate hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room area has a flatscreen digital TV amp; DVD player, CD/Radio with iPod dock. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron amp; ironing board.
Electricity, heating, bed linen amp; towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of pound;25 per dog / per week, althoug please remember that dogs cannot be left unattended in the property alone. THERE IS PARKING FOR ONE VEHICLE ONLY in front of the cottage just off the lane. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot amp; high chair available.

Short breaks are available during quieter periods.

You must pay particular attention to details on how to leave your accommodation upon departure. Please note that in accordance with our booking conditions, it is your responsibility to:
1. Report and pay for any damages immediately to the Owner or housekeeper.
2. All personal waste must be removed from inside the property at the end of your stay and placed in the dustbins provided. Please note and adhere to any additional instructions in the property regarding waste disposal.
3. Ensure all washing up is done and excess food is removed from the property at the end of your stay.
4. Leave the property in a clean and respectable condition upon departure.
5. Pet owners are reminded about the specific conditions regarding pets at properties.
Please be reminded that in accordance with our terms & conditions, part or all of your pre-authorised security deposit (should it apply to your booking) is at risk if any of these conditions are not met.
