The shower has excellent water pressure. Our water is heated by the sun via the solar panels on our roof. You are welcome to use our washing machine, (USD10 per wash).
I hope you will find the apartment comfortable and encourage you to feel free to ask if it lacks something.
We are in a great location if you wanted to Golf or Beach or both! If you really would like beach stuff, like surfing or paddle boarding, snorkling, diving, or day trip catamaran cruises to swim with the turtles - these are all possible in near by beaches and I am happy to make bookings (for the ones you have to pay for e.g. Catamaran Cruises). If too much activity doesn't appeal to you, then lounge by Tiki Bar on Accra/Rockley beach with a good book, and you have food and drinks at your fingertips there too!
You have access to the whole apartment (obviously!), and feel free to chill out under a cool tree in the garden!

If you would like information on where to go around Barbados, I'll be happy to assist! We can interact as much or as little as you prefer.
Taxi from the airport is USD20 each way.
The apartment is not suitable for children/kids/babies. The tables in the sitting room are glass and could be safety issue for your child (sorry!).
A word about rum punches: They go down really easily (sweet and refreshing, makes you feel like you could drink 10 in ten minutes!), but oooh they lethal without you realising; so drink slowly and have water in between.
Drug users not welcomed to stay here (sorry). This is for our own safety.
No unregistered guests. Please provide the names of the other person who is coming with you.
No smoking in the apartment.
No excessive drinkers.
No drug users.
Only responsible adults welcomed - people who will treat the apartment with care.
The mats in the apartment are all light colours. I would be most grateful if you would take your shoes off at the front door and only walk on the mats when your feet are clean. Why? Things are of limited availability in Barbados and also very pricy.
USD is widely accepted here; the exchange rate has been set at 1USD to 2BBD. Let me know when you arrive if you would like some local currency; we often exchange USD for BBD with guests when they arrive.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have!
My other half, James, and I own Dona Zoyla; a home on a large lot of land, surrounded by mature trees and backing onto the Rockley Golf Club, with a six mins walk to the white sandy beach of Accra Beach (aka Rockley beach). I work from home and James works in IT at a bank. We are from the Caribbean and have both lived abroad for a good portion of our lives (James in Canada and I in England). We have lived in Barbados for approx 14 years. We enjoy reading (well, James mostly) and hanging out with our friends (either at home or at the beach). We are fairly health conscious and go to the gym regularly.
