The Host: Jing was very prompt with communication before and during our stay. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have been fortunate enough to meet. She supplied my mom and I fresh linens throughout our stay and even offered us dinner several times (she is a really good cook too!). She was mostly home during the week we were there, but gave us our privacy as needed. She can easily accommodate any type of traveler; those who are outgoing and enjoy partaking in socialized atmospheres, as she's very warm, inviting, and has great conversation. For those who like to keep to themselves, she isn't a bother at all, is very respectful of your space, and is genuinely understanding.
The Space: This is the master bedroom of the house and has a fairly large bathroom attached to it. It comes with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower area. There is ample space within the room to unwind and be completely comfortable. Being that this space is at the end of the hallway, situated next to the only other bathroom in the house, you will get a lot of foot traffic from the rest of the family in the home, but this wasn't a bother to me at all. If you're looking for complete and utter quiet, that won't be achieved. There was a mini fridge present, a large desk with two chairs, a standalone portable wardrobe closest, and a cute coffee maker that was supplied with yummy Korean coffee and even tea. The room was clean, well kept, and exactly as advertised.
The Experience: During the week I was at Jing's, it slowly began to feel as though I was coming home whenever I would venture out and head back to her place. The atmosphere in her home is very relaxed, mostly quiet throughout the day, and pretty soothing. What I really enjoyed the most was her openness with allowing my dogs to explore around the house as if they were her own. You don't really meet too many genuine people in life who have hearts like Jing's. I met two of her sons as well and they too are sweethearts. The neighborhood is lovely and right off the highway. Walmart and various food spots are about 4 minutes away, including the popular bakery Sweethut. It's about a 15 minute drive, depending on traffic, to get to the center of Marietta. She's pretty centrally located. It was rare that I ever saw any signs of her cats (they're shy), so if you're not allergic but just aren't too fond of cats, you will be fine staying here. They were non-existent.
Overall, great stay, amazing host, and lovely area! Thank you for everything, Ms. Jing!
