Located next door to the owner#39;s farmhouse, this delightful conversion has just been completed and offers a truly peaceful place to stay in the North Cornwall area. It is a real treat for couples seeking romantic heaven. A spacious living room is made extra cosy by a traditional log burner sitting in the large inglenook fireplace and the sumptuous leather sofas. Upstairs the beautifully presented bedroom has french windows opening to a charming Juliet balcony from which guests will be treated to bird song from the neighbouring orchard. Outside you can enjoy a morning coffee on the patio or sunbathe in the private south facing garden. The Old Cider House is definitely a place to relax, unwind and revive the spirits.
This stunning part of north Cornwall will delight visitors seeking an area of historical interest, beautiful scenery, spectacular walks and a warm Cornish welcome. The famous villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac are both within a short drive and there is nowhere more historic in Cornwall than Tintagel for those fascinated by Arthurian legends. Sandy beaches at Crackington and nearby Widemouth Bay are both great for surfing, but if you fancy a great escape, try the Strangles beach, often quiet even in the height of summer because of a steep path down the cliff. This area is a walker#39;s paradise with some of the most dramatic (and challenging) sections of the south west coastal path from Port Isaac all the way up to Widemouth. Alternatively the wilds of Bodmin Moor are not too distant where you can scale the famous tors of Roughtor or Cornwall#39;s highest point, Brown Willy.
Ground Floor: The beautiful stable door opens into the spacious living room with leather sofas, inglenook fireplace and dining table with lovely wood flooring. A fully fitted kitchen looks out over the garden and the rolling fields beyond.
First Floor: Upstairs is the delightful double bedroom with 5#39; double bed, pastel bed linen and large wadrobes. The gorgeous french windows open to the Juliet balcony and the skylights mean this is a light and airy bedroom in the warmer months, but with the open stairs and a roaring woodburner, a gorgeous cosy place in winter. A well fitted bathroom adjoins with a bath and over bath shower.
Exterior: A small patio is available immiediately to the outside of the front door and the garden extends around the house. There is an outside table and a BBQ is available.
Facilities amp; Services
Heating is via an air source heat pump and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of modern equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The sitting room has a flat screen digital TV amp; SMART Blueray DVD player with Netflix, a CD amp; Radio. There is Superfast WiFi available at the property. There is an iron amp; ironing board.
Electricity, heating, bed linen amp; towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. Parking facilities are available for up to 2 vehicles. Regrettably no smoking or dogs are allowed. There is a cot amp; high chair available upon request.

You must pay particular attention to details on how to leave your accommodation upon departure. Please note that in accordance with our booking conditions, it is your responsibility to:
1. Report and pay for any damages immediately to the Owner or housekeeper.
2. All personal waste must be removed from inside the property at the end of your stay and placed in the dustbins provided. Please note and adhere to any additional instructions in the property regarding waste disposal.
3. Ensure all washing up is done and excess food is removed from the property at the end of your stay.
4. Leave the property in a clean and respectable condition upon departure.
5. Pet owners are reminded about the specific conditions regarding pets at properties.
Please be reminded that in accordance with our terms & conditions, part or all of your pre-authorised security deposit (should it apply to your booking) is at risk if any of these conditions are not met.
