Yeonjae has been the only difficult guest experience we’ve had in the whole time we’ve been happily airbnb’ing our apartment. The issue started because she brought outside appliances into the apartment without asking (high voltage rice cooker, high voltage space heater and other items) and overloaded the (somewhat delicate) power system. No other guests have had this issue, it was just her. Her outsized electrical use caused a high electrical bill and may have somehow burnt out our refrigerator as well, or it was a coincidence that the fridge burnt out during her use. Anyway, we didn’t ask any quested and immediately provided her a mini fridge while we waited for the building to replace the full size fridge. Yeonjae was dissatisfied with the smaller fridge storage as a temporary solution and complained daily about it, even though we had to wait for the building to replace the old one. We kept excellent communication with Yeonjae the whole time but she was extremely difficult to please. We asked that she please leave so we could rent the apartment to a normal guest but she refused.
