A Tudor style home with a unique blend of 1920's feel with modern Mid-century charm. Enjoy the restored original red oak hardwood floors with 16' foot boards and original leaded glass windows. Kitchen has retro funky 1950's metal cabinets that gives it a fun and unique feel. Cute breakfast nook that can seat up 6 people with a beautiful bay window with individual leaded glass windows to peer out on to the walking street.
The attic gives the home a modern feel with tons of natural light from the five Velux roof windows. Here you can enjoy the 55" Samsung TV and be connected with fast Wifi and enjoy movies on Blu-ray/DVD player and latest version of Apple TV. All new furniture, mattresses, sheets, pillows and down comforters to cozy up in and enjoy.
The home has two bedrooms on main level. The blue Mid-century bedroom has queen bed and next to bathroom. The grey bedroom has a Tempur-Pedic full size bed to enjoy for one looking for a firm mattress. The attic has a super comfy and soft full size bed along with a sofa bed. (FYI--The stairs to the attic are steep and may be difficult to access for toddlers, elderly people or individuals with disabilities.)
Adorable flagstone patio along the west side of the home among the flower beds to enjoy a BBQ and an evening relaxing outside under the patio lights and stars.
Brand new front end HE washer and dryer are located in basement for laundry with new laundry table to fold clothes and iron and ironing board provided. Basement bedroom is used for storage. Guests can have access to Apple TV and log into their accounts. Free electric car charging coming under carport in 2017. Two parking spots available (one under carport). Street parking also available. Full compliment of spices, and cookware available. Outdoor BBQ available to use outside on patio.
FYI: There are still a few things we are trying to fix which includes the railing on the front porch (super loose) and the shower faucet. I've tried multiple products on the tub, but it's hard to make an 80 year old tub look like new.

I'll help check you in and get you comfortable with our place and answer any questions. A Smart lock located on the front door and an access code will be given at time of reservation.
The front door faces a walking street called Boulevard Gardens (1800 South), so you will access the back of our home via Quayle Ave (1770 South). Look for the homes with cement fence. You can also look for the house with two roof windows.

The information below is provided to ensure you are informed, safe & taken care of while staying at the home. Please enjoy, and handle ueverything with respect. Especially the hardwood floors and furniture.
We kindly ask the following 3 things upon your checkout.
1. Please wash dishes and put in drying rack.
2. Please put used towels in room laundry baskets.
3. Please put trash (green bin) & recycling (blue bin) into the proper containers outside.
4. please turn off all lights and make sure doors are locked upon leaving.
Refer to booking and cancelation policy area.
If a repair is necessary during your stay, upon acceptance of the reservation, guest(s) enable homeowner or repair person access to the property for purposes of inspection and/or repair. Your host will exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
If the home appears dirty or damaged when you arrive, please inform me at check-in.
AIRBNB: At the time of your reservation, Airbnb does not charge your card for the amount of the security deposit. They do deposits by way of a resolution claim only. To avoid the hassle of claims, your credit card will be collected and processed for $1.00 in case deductions are necessary due to:
Damage to the property or furnishings
Dirt or other mess requiring excessive cleaning. Any other cost incurred by homeowner due to guest’s stay
If damage exceeds the amount of the stated deposit ($350.00) or inventory has been removed, guest agrees that the card on file will be processed for the amount necessary to replace damaged or missing inventory.
The fireplace is currently not working.
There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily cleaning service is not included in the rental rate. Please do not remove towels or linens from home.
This home is privately owned, and though the owners carry insurance, they are not responsible for accidents, injuries or illness that occur while guests are staying at the home, or for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. By accepting the reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

The maximum number of guests is limited to 8 people. We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. $100 per person over 6 people.
The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in waste basket provided in the bathroom and use the trash bin in the kitchen to dispose of larger food items. Any excess food on plates please scrape off into garbage and not down sink disposal. Thanks!
We kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side between 10pm and 8am.
We are big pet lovers and have them ourselves, but thank you for respecting our no pet policy.
To ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, the Downtown Oasis has a no wet shoes policy inside. Thank you for your cooperation! The hardwood floors are over 85 years old and need extra love. Please wipe up any liquid as soon as possible.
SMOKING/RECREATIONAL DRUG USE
Being a family home, we also have a no smoking policy. We also a strong believers that what you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. In Utah, the use of marijuana is illegal, it is not permitted inside the house. If smoking of any type has occurred indoors (based on owner discretion), there will be a minimum $600 fee and immediate termination of agreement without rental or deposit refund.
