Lowarth site is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty in Glorious North Cornwall. Although the site itself is surrounded by fields it is just a 2 or 3 minute walk to our local award winning country pub/restaurant, The Quarryman and a 5 minute drive to the A39 ‘Atlantic Highway’ which runs right through Cornwall. A 5 minute drive away is Wadebridge with it’s shops and cafes and access to the now famous Camel Trail. Lowarth is a 15 minute walk away from a bus stop for local buses.
Lowarth's high quality tents are sited on platforms in their own little garden space. They are carpeted and fully furnished with a double bed with a double or king duvet and 4 pillows and a day bed with under bed trundle with single duvets and 2 pillows each. Bed linen is not provided so please either bring your own or message me for cost of having the bed linen supplied. Storage is provided and table and chairs inside and outside the tents. The tents have their own wood burner and a complimentary supply of logs is provided for your 1st night's stay, further supply of logs etc can be provided as cost price. Both the tent and the kitchen have good solar lighting, the kitchen annex is fully equipped for a self-catering stay.
Lowarth has good parking space for your car separate from but also quite close to your tent. There is a modern toilet and shower block with 4 toilets and 2 showers and a utility room with a full size sink with hot and cold water for washing dishes, a fridge and a freezer and a microwave. Free electric points are provided for your hair dryer and for re-charging. There is a large social fire pit area just the other side of the car park as well as two smaller more intimate fire pit areas on the site itself. In the centre of the site is a raised covered seating area called "Top Deck" which is sited to take advantage of Lowarth's wonderful views. There is a reception room where Avril will, on request and for a small price, provide a laundry service. There is a treatment cabin where our qualified Shiatsu Practitioner provides treatments and the Tarotvan where Avril will, if you wish, give you a Tarot Card Reading.

There is a bell prominently placed on the fence in the car park which is there for the guests to ring for attention. Alternatively guests are welcome to come to the reception room in the bungalow. We aim to be available for our guests from 9am to 9pm and will make sure that when this is not possible we let our guests know. We will always be there to welcome our guests and show them around the site and their tent.
Lowarth has won three awards - we have 4 pennants from the Automobile Association, we have been Accredited by Quality in Tourism and we gained the Rose award from Quality in Tourism & Visit England.
Our tiny site is totally peaceful with no light pollution on the site itself whilst at the same time being well lit around the public areas - car park, toilet block and reception area.
Duvets & Pillows are supplied. Guests can be supplied with bed linen and towels on arrival for a small fee. Please message me if you would like this. The wood burner is set up for the guest to light with additional logs for the first night, a supply of logs, kindling and fire lighters can be purchased for cost price.
Guests are expected to respect the Site, the Tents and each other, see terms and conditions on Lowarth's website.
Hello, I am the owner of a tiny but gorgeous glamping site in fabulous North Cornwall. I have lived in Cornwall now for 25 years and I still feel as though I am on holiday. Before I retired back in 2006 I worked as a Psychiatric Nurse specialising in the care of elderly people with dementia, a job that I truly loved.
Now I am having a great time working with some lovely people to build the best little holiday site we can imagine and our greatest joy is to bring pleasure, peace and relaxation, to all our lovely customers.
