Originally built around 1817, as a manse for the local church, set in 10 acres of Glebe, including a walled garden.
Not overlooked, wildlife haven
20 minutes to the spectacular Moray Coast. Perfect base for The Whisky Trail, Castle Trail, Speyside Way & Salmon and Trout fishing.
This bedroom has an ensuite shower room with a power shower. It is a large, quiet room, recently decorated and looks out to the rear of the property.
The kingsize bed has a cosy duvet, 100% cotton sheets and an electric blanket for extra warmth on those chilly nights!
We have antique furniture all around the house, including the wardrobe, dressing table and chairs in this room.
Breakfast is continental style - you can expect homemade jams/preserves, homemade granola and sometimes (!) homemade bread. Fruit from the garden when in season and eggs from our chickens when they are laying!
Being aware of our carbon footprint, we made the decision to install a biomass heating system. We also installed a wind turbine to provide us with electric for our property, this is visible from the rear of the property.
We encourage wildlife to the garden with sympathetic plantings and a pond, which is home to frogs, toads, newts and visiting ducks.
Fiona is happiest cooking, pottering in the walled garden (or sweating blood and tears!), chatting with her chickens or walking the dogs.
Guests are welcome to use the drawing room and dining room where tea and coffee making facilities are available.
We encourage guests to have a wander round the extensive gardens and to just relax in the surroundings.

There is always one of us around when you are staying in our home. We do enjoy meeting people and hearing about their place of origin. However, we have another sitting room in the house which we use, so please don't feel that we will crowd you!
The majority of restaurants in Keith close at 7.30pm so it may be best to eat before arrival. We can recommend various restaurants on the route to Grange House
- We have a septic tank so nothing other than toilet paper in the loo please
- No Smoking in the House
- Sorry but no access to cooking facilities

Following a trip to New Zealand in Spring 2016 where we first used AirBnB, my husband Godfrey and I thought "We would like to do this!", so here we are.
We both work part-time, I'm a midwife and Godfrey drives for the "Medical Emergency Department". In a previous life, Godfrey was a fishing ghillie so he is full of stories about "the one that got away"!
Looking back at the reviews we have had so far sums us up - chatty, humorous, tidy and caring - and that's the type of guests we would love to host.
Our interests include travelling , antiques and fast things! I love cooking, gardening and getting out walking with our dogs. We both enjoy being outside in the fresh air, listening and discussing our different music choices, and visiting old and interesting places.
We would love to host guests who are comfortable in an old house (ours was built around 1817).
"There are no strangers in our lives - just friends we haven't met yet"
