Two (2) beautiful bay front apartments with waterside backyard and dock for boating and fishing. Directly across from gorgeous beach and walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. Relax on the dock while enjoying your favorite drink; the excitement of dolphin and manatee sightings never gets old. Sunrise on our dock, and sunsets on the beach!
PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE 2 APARTMENTS, SIDE BY SIDE ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Apartment 1 is 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom; apartment 2 is 1 bedroom 1 bathroom.
Before proceeding any further, please make sure our “house rules” meet with your vacation expectations so as not to affect the return of your security deposit:
1) The responsible renter must be at least 30 years old
2) No children under 12 years of age
3) No pets
4) No smoking
5) No parties
6) No extra guests—both day use and overnight
Our ground floor, side-by-side apartments totaling 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are offered exclusively to guests (no owner's belongings to navigate around). We provide a welcome "starter" of complimentary coffee, tea, creamer, condiments, spices, and more.
These are two ground floor apartments side-by-side. The 2 bedroom apartment is approximately 600 square feet of living area near the main building entrance. There is one queen bed in bedroom 1, and two twin beds in bedroom 2. USB plugins for your electronics are provided in both bedrooms and the living area.
The 1 bedroom apartment is approximately 450 square feet of living area just off the center courtyard. There is one queen bed in the bedroom and USB plugins for your electronics are provided in both the bedroom and living area.
PLEASE NOTE: there are no water views from inside either apartment, but the tranquil inter-coastal backyard is just through the adjoining breezeway and the beach is directly across the street.
The property is secured by a large, access controlled wooden gate which is near the front doors of the apartments; each apartment has a smart lock with keyless entry. Guests are provided access codes the morning of their scheduled arrival via text and email.
The apartments are equipped with "Smart" TV's that have cable and internet streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc) -- guests must have their own accounts for internet streaming services. High speed Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the property (yes--even outside on the grounds!) at no charge.
We provide toiletries, linens, towels, beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers), paddle boards, fishing poles and tackle, bait buckets, firewood (for the fire pit), gas BBQ grill, complimentary clothes washer/dryer. The large smart key controlled shed holds many of the goodies--you will be provided the code upon check in. Some of the above mentioned items are available on a first come first served basis.
The 2 bedroom apartment has a semi-open kitchen with dishwasher, and is equipped with all the basics a guest needs to dine in. You will find a K-cup coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, blender, pots and pans, etc. The full size refrigerator has an ice maker.

Both apartments have central air-conditioning (no wall units or mini-splits) which provides guests with consistent climate comfort and very little background noise.
About the property: there are 4 apartments on the property (2/2, 2/1, 1/1, and a Single). The spacious grounds, beach and fishing accessories, and other "toys" are shared by all guests. The property affords multiple seating areas for our guest's comfort. There is also a backyard bathroom available to guests, a hot/cold outdoor shower with a privacy door that you won't want to miss, and a spectacular outdoor kitchen and shower.
The beach is literally across the street! Also directly across the street is the Island Inn Resort which has a great little Tiki Bar on the beach and is open to the public. You can rent bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and more on the beach in front of the Island Inn.
A short walk to the south of us is a liquor store, surf shop (with paddle board rentals), 7-11 store with gas, Caddy's on the Beach, and Sea Hags restaurant. About a 10 minute walk to the north of us is Publix grocery store and many restaurants and bars.
Close to Tyrone Square Shopping Mall, Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, St. Petersburg Downtown, Fort De Soto Park. Tampa International Airport is about a 35 minute drive. Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay Aquarium are about a 45 minute drive. Clearwater Beach and Marine Aquarium are about 25 minutes north of us. We are approximately 2 hours from Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios-Orlando.
One car parking per apartment is available directly in front of our building--please pull straight in towards the building. Additional guest parking is also available next door in the Island Inn parking lot (we own 2 units at the Island Inn); just let the front desk know you are with Tom Riley. Laundry room is located next to the center courtyard and there is no charge to use the machines.
Full access to the grounds and dock which may are shared with other guests. Parking for 1 car per apartment only.

Love to meet our guests. This is a vacation rental so we do not live onsite.
1. BBQ Grill: Please clean the bbq and utensils thoroughly after using.
2. Noise Level: Noise should be kept at minimum level at any given time.
3. No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments and hallway.
3. Parking: 1 car per apartment. Pull straight in towards the building.
- Please do not leave any trash outside the apartments and the building. The gray garbage cans at the north end of the driveway are for mixed garbage. The blue cans are for recycling.
- Please hang wet towels, clothes and other items on the cleats attached to the outside walls in the walkway. Do not hang towels or clothes on the outdoor furniture.
- Courtyard area umbrella should be returned to a closed position and secured after use.
- Please do not move or remove any outside furniture.
- Please replace fishing rods, paddle boards, and any other items to their proper location.
- No partiers or spring-breakers.
- No extra guests (both day use and overnight)--creates unnecessary wear and tear to the property and is not fair to the other guests.
- Access codes are issued via text or email the day of arrival. Parking for 1 car only. No smoking, no day or overnight guests, no pets, no children under 12, no parties. Responsible renter must be at least 30 years of age.
