Hi everyone. I live in Basalt Colorado, 25 minutes from Aspen and 25 minutes from Glenwood Springs, an amazing location. I love Travel and Adventure, and I do quite a lot of social dancing. I stay in AirBnB's often when traveling, and am opening up my home in Basalt to guests now as I just finished furnishing a lovely guest room.
When I have time, I travel to Denver once or twice a week for dance classes and dances, and love to stay at Airbnb places for those trips when I can. On those trips I'm rarely at the place, so a simple bed and bath is all I need. I make every effort to be a very quiet considerate guest. I love dogs and cats, and I found I prefer a home that does not have other Airbnb guests, and where if I share a bath, it's only with one other person.
I don't smoke and I'm not a 420 person, but I don't care what others do as long as smoke isn't an issue. I don't drink when dancing, it's not a good combination :).
In my other life back home, I run a landscape business in the summer, a Christmas decorating business in the winter and I put on dance events here and in Mexico.
I gave up TV a year ago and haven't missed it, but I can't live without books, and the morning coffee in the afternoon hot tea is an absolute must. In the mountains I love hiking and do it often, in the city, I love walking through all of the great local parks.
I look forward to hosting Guests myself, as well as traveling to more vacation spots and staying at more air B&B places.
