Situated in the grounds at Lower Porthamel organic farm our oak clad shepherds hut is uniquely furnished with Northern Swedish antique furniture and bespoke textile details. Close to Hay on Wye and the Black Mountains, our hut is an authentic experience. You’ll love it here as it is so tranquil - it's the perfect place for couples and solo adventurers wanting to retreat to and explore this magical area.
Our hot showers and toilets are a short distance from the hut shared with our campers.

The hut was really nice and cozy, loved the little log burner and breakfast was really delicious! Also the views from the hut were gorgeous! Clare was a lovely host. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful location, lovely unusual place to stay, warm and cosy Breakfast was amazing and brought straight to the shepherd hut for us still lovely and warm! Hospitality was lovely, very accomodating! Would definitely visit again
