Vincent's places is located in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood. Down the street you can buy snacks, drinks, beer, and other small goods from a local family. Winnifred beach is also located in a very close proximity and you are able to reach it via a short walk. With Vincent being a taxi driver he is very accommodating to come pick you up and take you around (Just give him some notice as he is often driving others around as well)! At night he brought us to get food from a local street hut, it was delicious! Available was chicken, rice, and peas as well as other options depending on what they had left (cold also buy beverages, including beer, and other small goods here).
The Guest House itself is located at the front of the property and Vincent lives in the back with his family. The room was exactly as expected, clean, a fan, bathroom attached to it, with two towels, toilet paper and hand soap provide. The only thing to note is you might not have hot water, just as a heads up. The Kitchen was equipped with most of the essentials needed (cups, pans, plates, utensils), as well as use of a stove and fridge. Lots of common area that would be shared with other guests. Downstairs was a kitchen table and upstairs couches, TV, and balcony. (Bring Bug Repellant!)
Overall Wonderful experience and a very accommodating host! If you are going to Jamaica you don't want to miss out on visiting the Portland Parish. It is beautiful with lots to see! Frenchman's Cove, Winnifred beach, Blue Lagoon, and you can get local tours up to Reach Falls and Blue Mountain!
I Would Definitely Choose to Stay at Vincent's Again.
