This is the quintessential log cabin, in the remote woods of Vermont, a dream come true! Please be truthful in the number of guests. Holiday weekends are a three night minimum. Children will require supervision. The cabin is a pet free and smoke free environment. Please make sure the water is not running & shut off lights to help conserve our environment for generations to come. This is a very "green" cabin.

I will accommodate special arrival & departure times to the best of my ability while taking into consideration the reservation calendar.
I would like to be notified when you leave, a text or email is great!
Please treat the cabin as if it were your own. I love the cabin and know you will too! I want you to enjoy your stay. If there is anything I can do, please contact me.
I built this home with my family about 20 years ago, and have been living in it full-time for 10 years or so now. I welcome guests into my home occasionally and would like to open that up to airbnb members. I love this home with all my heart, as do my 2 sons, and we have lovingly maintained every last part of it since its creation. I don't watch TV often, but in this remote location (see the map!) I find it can be nice to watch a movie in the evenings. I'd rather sit with a loved one and chat in front of the fireplace, or enjoy a book on the screened-in porch off the bedroom. I work at Killington Mountain in Management and Finance, which sounds boring but I keep very busy there :) Anyway, if you have any questions about the place or the area, please get in touch. I have lived in the area for over 30 years and know a lot of great spots to check out, things for families (I raised my two sons in the next town over) and something for every interest. I hope you enjoy my home and have fun!
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."-Henry David Thoreau
