Coolanowle Country House is a family run 5 star Fáilte Ireland approved property situated on a working organic farm with 3 acres of gardens in a peaceful country setting. With a homely ambiance, complimentary afternoon tea/ coffee and home baking on arrival; Coolanowle is the ideal destination for a quiet get away or an ideal base for touring. We are located 1 hour from Dublin & Waterford, 40 minutes from Kildare & Kilkenny, 20 minutes from Portlaoise, and 10 minutes from Athy and Carlow.

Prostor
All bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with antique furnishings. Each room is unique with its only individual layout and style. All rooms offer free toiletries, tea coffee making facilities, a safe, hairdryers and wifi.

Guests have access to two large lounges with open fires one has a library with an elecletic mix of reading material while the other has a TV and DVD player. Complimentary Tea & Coffee available on request.

As we are rurally located we are not in close proximity to bars, restuarants. Our local town however is just a 10 minute drive away while our nearest shops and pubs are just 5 minutes drive away.

See organic cows being milked and baby calves being fed on the farm. There are a number of playgrounds and parks in the local vicinity as well as wooded and riverside waymarked walks. Horseriding, bicycle hire also available, however this is strictly by prior arrangement.
