This beautiful and simple traditional-style house is incredibly spacious (99㎡) and perfect for a large family or group of friends!
The area “Sanjo-dori” is a beautiful historical area with lots of local restaurants and traditional souvenir shops. My grandfather was a Japanese woodblock printing artist, so I put some of his work on the wall for you to enjoy. We host some workshops where you can experience Calligraphy or Japanese cooking if you are interested!

We'd love to help you enjoy your stay in Kyoto!
Nice to meet you! My name is Noriko. I am Japanese and I used to work at IBM Japan (an International IT company). Thank you for viewing my listing. I always start my day with reading the newspaper while drinking my favorite coffee and end my day with asking myself, “Was I able to spend a productive day?” while drinking a glass of wine and eating some cheese. I am a nature-lover and I love interacting with people more than anything. I work at a daycare center now. I think children are the best treasure in the world. Moreover, I feel so happy when I take care of children. I love exercising, especially yoga and hiking. I love eating as well, so I can teach you how to cook Japanese food and introduce you great local restaurants.
I have three sweet grown-up children who will support me in doing Airbnb. My 26 year-old son is very kind and generous and he loves to play sports. My daughter is a university student and is living in Vancouver now. She is bilingual and loves to travel. She teaches me English.
Finally, if you have a plan to visit Kyoto, you are very welcome to stay with us. I would love to be your Japanese mother and we would like to support you in making your journey enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to meeting you!
