Your hosts will be Stu and Kate, our daughters and our gentle, warm-hearted friendly labrador.
We are both Kiwis and have been living in Queenstown for ten years.
Married for eight years, we have three beautiful daughters and enjoy an outdoors life here in Queenstown, throughout every season.
Stu has sixteen years experience in the building trade and has a wealth of knowledge and skills in this field of work. Stu's been working in the Queenstown and Central Lakes district for ten years and has built a large number of quality homes in the area. Stu’s local knowledge and eye for detail saw him achieve a Gold Award at the 2012 Master Builder’s House of the Year and a Gold Reserve Award, for the National Master Builder's House of the Year Awards.
Kate is a teacher at the local primary school and all the family enjoy an outdoors family lifestyle of boating, fishing, skiing and camping - we enjoy packing our camping equipment (with a few luxuries), outdoors toys and travelling around the South Island to explore the countryside and the beautiful New Zealand coastline.
We're both keen gardeners, love to dabble in the kitchen and love getting out and exercising, especially to keep our dog Duke happy.
Both of us have travelled extensively and still have a vast number of places left on the bucket list and a long list of our favourites to share with our children.
We look forward to welcoming international, local and domestic visitors to our wee slice of paradise and sharing a few of our favourite locations with you.
