My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
Located in the Oasis of Tulor (1km from the archaeological site of Tulor), the house is situated on a plot on the outskirts of San Pedro de Atacama. Designed to admire the desert and away from the light pollution of San Pedro.
Casa Jardín is located in the Ayllu (Oasis) of Tulor, within a small farm about 15 km away from down town of San Pedro de Atacama, so you will need your own transportation.
The house has been built on the principles of ancient Atacama construction, using adobe, mud, and other natural elements: the roof, for example, is made from “brea” from the farm while the stairs and railings make use of “chañar” and river stones.
It has an excellent view to the mountains range and them volcanoes. Not any light pollution around, beautiful for stargazing.
It has a nice double room overlooking the Licancabur volcano, a second room with a double bed and two sofa/bed in the living room. The house is designed for up to 4 people, but there is room for 6 (sofa/bed in the living area).
The Moon Valley is located 5 km away while Tulor’s Archeological Village is 2 km away. Calama Airport is a 1.15 hour drive away.
You can use the entire place and garden.
As much of the house runs on sustainable energy (solar panels and a well), it's important to be responsible with the use of both: electricity and water. It is not allowed to use appliance that transfers or transform (heat or cold) as: hair dryer, hair straightener, clothes iron, kettles, etc.
