If you're looking for a taste of traditional Greek hospitality, Pasas Studios is where you should stay! Stavros and his family went above and beyond to make our stay as stress free and comfortable as possible. Our family of 12 (we had 4 rooms) was picked up at the port; we each had a gorgeous fruit plate waiting for us in our rooms; an elaborate breakfast was served each morning, including vegetarian dishes for our non-meat eating family members; a crib was provided for our toddler; Whenever we needed help with car rentals, ferry tickets, or small errands Stavros was on the phone or in the car doing whatever he could to help; our rooms were cleaned every day; during our one week stay we had two INCREDIBLE home cooked meals with fresh/local everything...the list goes on. Each evening if there was anyone hanging out on the porch, Stavros and different members of his family would stop by and snacks and drinks would show up shortly after. Seriously A+++ hospitality. They made us feel like family.
As for the room, it had everything we needed: kitchenette, private bathroom, small balcony, small table, desk, closet with a safe. The neighborhood is close to everything without being in the middle of it all. 5-10 minute walk to the beach, 5-10 minute walk to the middle of the town, 10 minute walk to the port, and there are a couple of markets, cafes and rental car agencies within a few blocks. I loved staying in a local neighborhood and wandering around the quaint streets (and getting slightly lost in the beginning). It was perfect.
