Chill out in this residential neighborhood just outside of the action of downtown.
You're a mile away from natural attractions like Zilker Park, the Town Lake Hike & Bike trail, and spring-fed Deep Eddy Pool.
Visit neighborhood cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants on the lake.
It's a 5-10 minute drive, or 30 min walk to Downtown's center, 6th Street, the UT campus, and Capitol building.
The room is spacious with cool tile floors, and has a full-sized bed, semi-firm memory foam mattress, and cotton West Elm sheets.
The condo is a first-floor unit in a small 1960s condo complex. It's our first home! I've enjoyed staying in AirBNBs while traveling and I'm excited to offer the same hospitality to other travelers now.
You'll have 24 hour access, via a front door keypad lock. No key to keep up with! You can use the kitchen and fridge as desired.

My husband and I work 9-5 jobs during the week, and Jake takes night classes, so we're not home during most days.
We like to cook and watch Netflix after work, and we may run into you in the evenings. I'd love to stop and chat any time I can catch you though, hear how your trip is going, and give you some local tips.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or requests for amenities or dates not listed here. I'm happy to help out, offer suggestions, and work with you! I typically respond within an hour.
Update May '17: an adopted 1-year-old cat named Cortado now lives here! She is quite social and would love it if you stopped to play with her.
The cat isn't typically allowed in the guest room, but since she's an indoor-only cat, she spends most of her time in common areas. If you have any sensitivities or pet hair allergies, this may not be the best place for you.
1. Do not lock the deadbolts on the door. The keypad lock will lock the door automatically. Locking the deadbolts prevents hosts from entering! We will lock deadbolts at night when everyone is home.
2. Biking is a great way to get around Austin! We love riding and are pleased to rent our bicycles to you for a nominal fee through Spinlister (it's like AirBNB for bikes). If you're interested, let me know and I'll send you details, or search for my bikes on there in the zipcode 78703.
However, if the bikes are not rented through Spinlister, they are not to be removed from the condo or ridden under any circumstances.
My husband and I have traveled on AirBNB for a couple years - for vacations, for our honeymoon, and to compete at track meets and marathons across the country! We love being active at home and away, and are always looking for places to run, bike, do yoga, or just catch a great sunset.
We work 9-to-5 jobs during the week, and on the weekend we work at a running specialty store (Jake) and a local coffee shop (me). Life in Austin is pretty great and we're excited to share that with guests.
