Our place is a large Victorian ground floor flat quite close to the National Museum of Scotland - you can easily walk to the very centre of town in 20 minutes, across one of the largest parks in the city. Locally, there are a couple of lovely cafes and pubs. You’ll love the location and the enormous garden.
The neighbourhood of Marchmont has a strong community spirit, topped off with a large student body. For somewhere so close to the centre of the city, it is very villagey. A friend described it as "middle class Eastenders"!
We are on the 41 and 24 bus routes, and a 5 minute walk from the number 5. All of these will take you to the centre of town, and on to the Botanic Gardens, Crammond, The Playhouse, and other destinations.
- This is the home of two 4 year olds. They wake at 7.30... every day... And we're chaotic! Expect a home-from-home experience, cos we're not up to giving you a hotel experience!
We are a family with 4 year old twins. We're very fortunate to live in a wonderful Victorian house in a strong community in a beautiful city.
We love doing anything creative, from finger painting to tapestry, and from story-telling to wall-building. We dance about the house to all sorts of music, and love to visit Galloway.
We are welcoming hosts, always keen to get to know new friends, or just give some good tips on how to get the most out of Edinburgh.
