Ideal for couples & small families on a quiet getaway. We have 2 private bedrooms each with a double bed. Note: You will be sharing this house with the hosts.
Within easy reach of Balnarring Beach, you will be close to nature, bush walks & cycling, wineries and fine dining.
Explore the local attractions. Sample the region's food & wine with a picturesque backdrop. We have bikes you can borrow too... or just lay back & relax beside the pool!
Note: Minimum stay of 2 nights on long weekends.
We have two comfortable private bedrooms for guests available, both with double beds and 1 spare single trundle bed in the larger bedroom. There is a private bathroom for guests. A Portacot for babies/toddlers is also available.
A bar fridge is provided for guest's use to store their perishables/drinks.
We can accomodate a maximum of 4 guests.
We're a leisurely 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride from the Balnarring Village shopping area in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town overlooking undulating farmland. You will wake up to the cows and kookaburras and can spend the day exploring the area or just relaxing by our pool.
Swim, relax by the pool on the deck, use the shady undercover outdoor entertainment area/BBQ (with a TV to watch the cricket!) or relax in one of our two indoor living areas. We have bikes and helmets you can borrow to cycle the bike paths in the area or you could even spend the day cycling French Island (access is via a ferry from Crib Point that runs several times a day.)
Note: If you plan to see the little penguins on Phillip Island in the evening and then drive to Balnarring for the night, it's best you seek closer accommodation on the island or nearby town i.e. San Remo, as Balnarring is 115 kms - 1.5 hour vehicle drive from Phillip Island. There is no car ferry from Phillip Island across Westernport Bay to the Mornington Peninsula.

I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and had the wanderlust in my youth travelling the world and arrived in Australia in 1976 for a 2 year stay......still here! With my partner John, a year ago we moved out of the Melbourne suburbs (after the kids had finally left home) to this beautiful semi-rural part of the Mornington Peninsula to wind down from full-time work and live the dream. John's a very experienced hang-glider and apart from tinkering in his workshop (he's a handyman extraordinaire), loves nothing better than to soar above the cliffs of Flinders just down the road while my refuge is pottering around the garden and home, especially in the kitchen where I love to cook.
We'd love you to come and stay with us, using our home as your base, while you explore this bit of paradise and all it has to offer.
