Mon logement est proche de La Cité de Carcassonne . We live in a lovely house in the South of France, 15 minutes away from Carcassonne, known in the whole world for it's beautiful Mediaeval castle, which is classed UNESCO.
In 1996, Unesco added the Canal du Midi to its list of "World Heritage" sites.
In 1997, the Cité de Carcassonne in turn was awarded this distinction.
