Oaklands House, Aghadowey is a large, comfortable farmhouse set in the heart of some lovely countryside in rural Co Derry, Northern Ireland.
The location is within easy driving distance of Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, the Antrim Glens, the Causeway Coast and the Sperrin Mountains.
I built the house myself about 10 years ago. It is located on a smallholding where I keep some cattle and sheep.
The accommodation rented is a NON-self contained apartment located within my home.
It consists of a double bedroom with en suite and a private sitting room, kitchen and balcony.
The corridor and stairway between the two parts of the accommodation are also used by me and other members of my family when they come to visit.

Cot or child's bed available if required.
Smoking outside is OK (including on the balcony off the upstairs sitting room). Please do not leave butts, dead matches etc. lying about!
I am a retired college lecturer now running an ICT training business from home. I also have a smallholding where I keep some cattle and sheep. For the farm work, I have a young border collie (called Glenn) which I am currently training to work sheep.
