Home away from home.
My wife and I stayed from February 2nd through the 15th. During our whole stay, Kune joyfully helped us book whatever we wanted to do along with helping us find transportation too. She took our needs upon herself and is extremely hardworking. Her English is excellent as well.
The room and the bathroom both are very large and decorated in a very cute way. There is a wardrobe closet to hang clothes and a desk with drawers to put things. The wifi works excellently, especially compared to other places I've been to. It's very clean as well.
Compared to another place we stayed:
We stayed a couple weeks in Shanghai China and one night in Phi Phi Don as well (it was the only way we could get an early boat to Maya Bay). Both were a thorough disappointment compared to Hello House.
The local area:
The night market, 7-11, places to exchange money, and various shops and restaurants are all within a short walk. We felt safe and secure in the area while walking around and staying at Hello House and it's a big plus that most people speak English in the area. A lot of products in the shops are well priced or inexpensive.
For anyone who is a believer in Christ, there is a place called Peace Church in Ao Nang that can be found by a quick (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) search. We were blessed by their service and the pastor, Jason, who gave us a ride to service.
As we were leaving, we called Hello House our new home in Thailand and Kune and her husband have become like family. We sought time with her during our stay because we enjoyed her company. She and her husband are two of the sweetest and cheerful people. If and when we come back to Krabi, as I would like to do, we will definitely stay here again.
For new timers:
Check out Railay Beach (better than Caribbean beaches because it has caves, climbing and monkeys) Maya Bay, and any snorkeling opportunity. Be prepared for cultural differences and the sun and you won't be disappointed.
