Welcome to my unique house in the vicinity of beautiful Amsterdam and so many other famous villages.
Looking for a way to combine the trill and glitter of Amsterdam with the tranquilness rural life, look nu further! It will take you 10 minutes by car/bus to travel from Amsterdam Central Station towards Broek in Waterland. If you prefer the dutch way of travelling, you can easily rent a bike which will take you 30 minutes to end up at the Broekervaart, Along this canal, which leads towards the famous 17th century town, lies my houseboat. Standing on the little rowing boat you have to take to get from the road towards my houseboat, you can still se Amsterdam lying in the distance. Once you get to the other side of the canal, you find yourself in the green of the garden and the adjoining meadowlands of Waterland. I'm hiring the newly build annex which is a luxurious private expansion of 70m2 which holds sleeping accommodation for 4 persons and a large bathroom. Furthermore, you will have access to the garden, outdoor sitting areas including a fireplace and, when the dutch wether lets you, a barbecue.
The location of the houseboat is perfect for strolls through the national reserve which starts directly behind the garden. Or maybe renting a boat to discover why the area is called Waterland.
The direct bus line takes you to Volendam, Marken and of course our capital.
Long story short, if you're looking for something different, a little bit of quietness outside the noise of Amsterdam, I will be happy to have you!
